We stand for refugees everywhere

Here at Tyneside Welcomes, we are focused on supporting families who are still displaced because of the conflict in Syria.

Still, we care about refugees, wherever they come from, and this is a reminder that our hearts and minds are with the people of Ukraine.

If you would like to send financial support Ukrainian refugees, too, you can send donations to humanitarian aid agencies such as the International Committee of the Red Cross, the International Rescue Committee and UNICEF are all working on the ground in the region.

There's not much we as individuals can do to help, but that doesn't mean there's nothing we can do. Together, we can help the people of Ukraine build their lives back.
