Today we got such GREAT NEWS! We have been allocated a refugee family to support and they should arrive here in mid-June.
AT LAST!
We’re busy finalising all our plans. This task has been made easier and clearer now that we know a bit about the family. But our first task will be to help them cope with their obligatory two weeks’ quarantine. Once they have got over that hurdle, we will help them register with a doctor, open a bank account and start to get out and about in North Tyneside.
