An Update from Our Newly Official Charity

Hello! We have been so busy trying to raise money and go through the application process to bring our new friends to their new home, that we completely forgot to write it all down!

Without getting into too much detail, we have a lot to cover. We’ve officially been recognised as a charity by HMRC (Charities reference Number is ZD04474), and we’ve got our application off to the Home Office. We’re expecting a meeting/inspection with Home Office representatives before the end of the year, and hopefully we’ll be putting all our hard work to good use for a family in the first half of the new year.

We’ve been speaking at a lot of other charities and charitable organisations that we are involved with, and we’re finding a lot of support. Obviously monetary support is grand, but we’d really love to have more people join us.
